Holy Crap

This is not a happy article.

It’s scary how much muscle the FBI has without seeming to have any understanding about what it is they are investigating. It seems to me that if a single business in a co-location facility is legally at odds, any other businesses in that co-location facility should be left alone, along with everything making their systems work.

After all, if the corner drug store is selling illegal drugs, you wouldn’t expect the FBI to tear out the whole block to investigate, would you? If a single car on the interstate is transporting illegal weapons across state lines, you wouldn’t expect the FBI to seize all the cars on the Interstate AND pull up the pavement to investigate would you?

Either they are being used to knock out competition for bigger companies and are thugs, or they are not very smart… or they are legit here and the only people they are hurting are bad guys… but it seems like they’d be able to make that apparent.

Resize Images in Linux

Most people probably already knew this, but this is my note to self:

`mogrify -resize 1024 *.jpg`

Maintains aspect ratio and applies the resize to all the files you specify.

That’s pretty slick.
