The M-AudioFast Track Guitar/Mic Recording Interface
So I am a bit of a guitar enthusiast. I don’t get to play very much, let alone record, but if you are into guitar, check out the M-Audio FastTrack. This thing connects to your machine via USB. It seems to work great with Garage Band on my Mac. I have recorded some simple stuff from my Les Paul Studio, using GarageBand to act as an effects processor, etc. I have not tried the microphone for my accoustic guitar, which has no pick-ups, but I think it would do fine. The only mic I have is from a Karaoke machine my son has, and it pretty much sucks. Check out Sweetwater if you are going to order one of these on-line. They are the greatest.
